Open Letter to Getrude Tumusiime Uwitware

Getrude, Most letters start with "Dear". Should I say it as well. No I wont.

I know you are fine lately so I will not ask how you are. From what I see on NTV Uganda, it clearly tells me you are okay.

Now! I am very certain you have gotten numerous thanks and appreciation for your reporting works. the charisma, creativity, bravely, dare, story lines, etc. Niceness just! Those are words the new English provides these days. #Niceness

It does not harm to add to the many Thanx(es) that you have gotten. Wait! Did I say Thanxes?

Any awards yet? To my knowledge NO. I know the reason. It's because the category in which your style of reporting belongs has not yet existing; In short, you are in your own class.

I note that your reporting appears in segments of news. Do they call them segments? You journalists know what they call it but what am meant to say is that what you report to me is not news. Its more of Life Stories and I have been asking why not do Life Stories completely.

Yes your stories are Life Stories and they are awesome. I want to see more always. That story of the Blind Couple. That story of the deaf couple and many others which pass without me watching probably am still fighting for the remote with the Soaps fans in my kafunda.

Thank you very much and keep up the good work but I hope the next time I see you, you won't be reconstructing a scene of someone jumping off Workers House, trust me it wont be a nice feeling when you land on the tarmac.

'Til next time!
